The Login campaign gives subscribers a direct link that logs them into customer portal in one click. This is useful when you are running a marketing push and want subscribers to take action inside their portal without any drop-off along the way. For example, if you're promoting an end-of-month sale, you can use this campaign to inform subscribers and let them shop instantly by logging them in directly.
Why use login campaigns
Login campaigns help you drive subscribers into customer portal whenever you need them to take an action on their subscription. Most subscriber actions, like swapping a product, upgrading a plan, applying an offer, or updating preferences, happen inside customer portal, and a manual login step is often the reason subscribers drop off before completing them.
Key benefits:
Remove login friction: Subscribers land inside customer portal in one click from any marketing message.
Drive action on any portal feature: Use it for product swaps, plan upgrades, offer redemptions, preference updates, or any other portal action you want subscribers to take.
Power promotional emails: Embed a direct login link in marketing campaigns for sales, flash offers, or announcements.
Flexible outreach: Share login links through a CSV quick action list or sync them directly to Klaviyo.
When to use this campaign
This campaign works best in the following situations:
You are running a flash sale or limited-time discount and need subscribers to apply it to their next order before the timer runs out.
You are pushing a loyalty or rewards promotion and want subscribers to redeem it from their portal.
You have launched a new product and want subscribers to swap or add it to their existing subscription.
You are re-engaging subscribers who have not visited their portal in a long time and want the first step to be as frictionless as possible.
How login campaign works
When a subscriber clicks a login campaign link from a marketing email or SMS, they are redirected directly to customer portal and logged in automatically. They land on the portal home page ready to take action on whatever promotion you are running.
How to create a login campaign
Navigate to Loop admin > Campaigns > Create campaign, then select Login campaign. Add an internal name so you can identify the campaign later.
Select audience
Choose which subscribers should receive the login link:
All active subscribers: The campaign applies to every active subscriber in your account.
Specific active subscribers: Filter by conditions such as product, frequency, or tags, or add specific subscription IDs to target a subset.
Choose how to share campaign actions
You can distribute login links to subscribers in two ways:
Generate manual quick action list: A CSV file is generated containing personalized login URLs for each subscriber. You can use this list to trigger campaigns through any third-party marketing tool.
Sync campaign action list to Klaviyo: Login links are synced directly to Klaviyo, so you can trigger flows without exporting a CSV.
Set timeline
Set the campaign start and end date and time. By default, campaign duration is one month, calculated as the difference between the start and end date.
Once the campaign expires, login links will no longer work and subscribers cannot use them to access customer portal.
Notify completion alert (optional)
Enter an email address to receive alerts when subscribers use the login link. This helps your team monitor engagement in real time.

Customer experience
Subscribers receive the login link through your marketing email, SMS, or any other channel where you have placed it. The link is typically embedded behind a Login button inside a promotional message, such as a sale announcement or a new feature callout.
When a subscriber clicks the link:
They are redirected to customer portal automatically.
They are logged in without entering any credentials.
From there, subscribers can take action on the promotion or update you are running, without the drop-off that usually comes from a manual login step.
Performance tracking
Track campaign results by navigating to Loop admin > Campaigns. You can review the following metrics for each login campaign:
Audience: Number of subscribers targeted by the campaign.
Clicks: Number of subscribers who interacted with the campaign.
Completion rate: Percentage of subscribers who successfully logged in through the link.
Use these insights to refine your targeting and messaging over time.
