How to create a Recover failed payments campaign
Navigate to: Loop Admin → Campaigns → Create Campaign → Recover failed payments
Add an internal name for easy identification.
Select audience
Choose the subscriptions to target:
All Active subscriptions, or
Specific Active subscriptions
You can filter subscriptions using conditions to target only those impacted by failed payments.
The system displays the total subscriptions selected.
Configure discount incentive (Optional)
You can offer a discount to encourage subscribers to update their payment method.
Configure:

The discount is applied once the subscriber updates their payment method and completes the action.

You can distribute update-payment links using:
Generate manual quick action list
A CSV file will be generated containing personalized payment update URLs. This can be used in external marketing tools.
Sync campaign action list to Klaviyo
Automatically sync update-payment links to Klaviyo for automated outreach.
Customize texts
Configure campaign messaging. Clear communication reduces friction and improves acceptance rate.
Set timeline
Set the campaign start and end date and time.
Note: Campaign duration by default is 1 month (difference between start and end date).
Once expired:
• Banner disappears automatically
• Expired links will redirect to portal but not open the campaign drawer
Notify completion alert (Optional)
Enter an email address to receive notifications when subscribers complete the campaign action.

Customer experience
Subscribers who receive the campaign link will be redirected to the Customer Portal and shown an Update card details drawer. They can enter new card and billing details and confirm the update.
Once completed:
• Payment method is updated
• Failed renewal can be recovered
• Incentive (if configured) is applied
• Success message confirms completion
If the update triggers order placement, the subscriber sees confirmation of successful recovery.
Performance tracking
Track campaign results under Loop Admin → Campaigns.
Metrics available:
Audience: Number of subscriptions targeted.
Clicks: Number of subscribers who opened the update drawer.
Completion rate: Percentage of subscribers who successfully updated their payment method.
