Loop integrates with Webshipper to let customers update their pickup point directly from the Loop Customer Portal.
This is useful for merchants who offer pickup-point delivery through Webshipper. When a customer changes their shipping address, Loop can fetch nearby pickup points from Webshipper and let the customer select a new location.
Once selected, the pickup point is saved against the subscription and used for future recurring orders.
How it works
When a customer wants to change their pickup point:
The customer opens the Customer Portal and chooses to update their shipping details.
The customer enters their new shipping address.
Loop retrieves available pickup points near the new address from Webshipper.
The customer selects their preferred pickup point.
Loop saves the selected pickup point to the subscription.
Future recurring orders use the updated pickup-point information.
This allows customers to manage their pickup location themselves without contacting the merchant's support team.
Set up Webshipper with Loop
To enable pickup-point selection in the Customer Portal, you need to connect your Webshipper account with Loop.
1. Get your Webshipper API credentials
You will need the API credentials from your Webshipper account.
The Webshipper integration uses an authorization token to retrieve pickup-point information.
2. Connect Webshipper in Loop
In your Loop admin, open the Webshipper integration and enter the required integration details.
Once the integration is connected, Loop can retrieve pickup-point information from Webshipper when customers update their shipping address.
Note: Pickup-point options in the Customer Portal are only available when the Webshipper integration is connected and configured.
Customer experience
Once Webshipper is connected, customers can update their pickup point directly from the Customer Portal.
Step 1: Update the shipping address
The customer starts by updating their shipping address.
After entering the new address, Loop searches Webshipper for pickup points available near the new location.
Step 2: Select a pickup point
Loop displays the available pickup points returned by Webshipper.
Each pickup point can include:
Carrier and service
Distance from the customer's address
Pickup-point name
Pickup-point address
City and postal code
For example:
PostNord Pakkeshop · 0.37 km
Pakkeshop 7-Eleven Silkeborg Dsb
Drewsensvej 5, 8600 Silkeborg
The customer selects the pickup point they want to use.
Step 3: Save the new pickup point
After the customer selects a pickup point, Loop saves the pickup-point details against their subscription.
The selected pickup point is then used for future recurring orders.
What happens to future orders?
Once the customer selects a new pickup point, the updated pickup-point information is stored as part of the subscription's shipping details.
Future recurring orders generated by Loop will use the updated pickup location.
This means customers do not need to contact the merchant every time they move or want to change their preferred pickup location.
Pickup points shown to customers
Loop uses pickup-point information provided by Webshipper to display the available options.
The pickup-point information shown in Customer Portal includes:
Carrier and service
Distance
Pickup-point name
Address
Postal code and city
The available pickup points depend on the address and pickup-point services configured in Webshipper.
Troubleshooting
No pickup points are shown
If customers cannot see any pickup points after entering their address, check:
The Webshipper integration is connected in Loop.
The Webshipper API credentials are valid.
The relevant carrier and pickup-point service are configured in Webshipper.
Pickup-point delivery is available for the customer's address.
The address entered by the customer is complete and valid.
The customer selected the wrong pickup point
The customer can return to the shipping details section in Customer Portal and update their pickup point again, provided the option is available for their subscription.
Will existing orders be updated?
The pickup-point update is stored on the subscription and is intended to apply to future recurring orders.
Orders that have already been created or are already in fulfillment may require separate handling depending on their current fulfillment status.
