Replo is a page builder for custom landing and product pages that integrates with Shopify. Loop does not have a native integration with Replo, however Replo has its own subscription widget, and it allows Loop to pass selling plan data through via Shopify. This article covers connecting Replo to your store, how the two platforms work together, setting up selling plans, building your product page, and testing your setup.
Before you begin: Connect Replo to Shopify
Before you can use Loop selling plans on a Replo page, install and connect the Replo builder app on your Shopify store. You can find the app here
For the full setup process, refer to Replo's guide on integrating Shopify with Replo.
Once this connection is in place, your Shopify store data, including your Loop selling plan details is sent from Shopify to Replo's page builder.
How Replo and Loop work together
Replo uses its own subscription widget to display selling plans on the page. The Loop widget itself is never rendered on Replo pages, since Replo relies entirely on its own component for this.
Once you map a product to a selling plan in Loop, Shopify carries that selling plan data through to Replo's widget automatically. Loop isn't fetching anything from Replo or configuring Replo's widget directly. It only needs the product-to-plan mapping to be correct in Loop admin, and Replo takes care of the rest through Shopify.
Replo's widget fetches every selling plan linked to a mapped product, including multiple plans set up for the same product.
Before building your product page in replo, create a selling plan in Loop and map the desired product to it. To know more, refer to Selling plan and Mapping products to selling plan
Note: Hidden selling plans may still appear in Replo's widget, since Replo pulls all plans linked to a product regardless of the visibility settings in Loop.
Building your product page in Replo
Once your selling plan is set up in Loop, build the product page in Replo and connect it to your product.
Go to the Replo builder and add a new page.
Choose a PDP (product detail page) template you want to use.
Creating the template imports the page into your Shopify store and connects it to all your Shopify products.
Click on the product section or container on the Layers panel. This shows all your Shopify products.
Choose the product you're building this PDP for (make sure selling plan is configured for that product in Loop)
In the Product panel on the right side of the screen, open the Config tab. Under Default selling plan, you'll see all the selling plans mapped to this product in Loop. Select which selling plan should be shown as the default option on the PDP.
To configure add-to-cart behavior of subscription products, select the button or component the shopper will click to add a subscription plan to the cart.
After selecting the add-to-cart CTA, go to the interactions tab on the right side of the editor, find On Click, then click the plus button. Search the product and add it
Select Add Product To Cart, then select the product configured with a subscription selling plan.
Replo detects that the product can be sold as a subscription and shows a dropdown to select the selling plan. Depending on what you're trying to do, choose one of the following:
Manually set a selling plan to apply to every add-to-cart click for this button. Leave the selection blank for a one-time purchase.
If you're using the Selling Plan List or Selling Plan Dropdown component to let shoppers pick their own plan, click the dynamic data button here to pull the shopper's Selected Selling Plan.
Click Save to save the interaction.
To view how the page will look after publishing, click on Preview button
Publish the page.
Note: Replo's widget picks up every active selling plan for the selected product and displays them as purchase options. If you have multiple subscription frequencies configured for the product, they all appear for the shopper to choose from.
If you're migrating from another subscription app that was previously connected to this Replo page, disable that app's selling plan first. Otherwise Replo may show plans from both apps at once.
Using dynamic product variant selection
Replo's built-in Variant List component lets shoppers select dynamic variants from your Shopify product listings while still choosing a subscription selling plan.
Allowing dynamic selection of subscription selling plans
Replo's built-in components let shoppers choose which subscription selling plan they want to purchase directly on the page. See Subscriptions and selling plans for setup details.
Variant-specific selling plans
Some selling plans only apply to a single variant of a product. For example, you might not offer one size of a product as a subscription.
Note: The Replo editor shows variant compatibility information as a tooltip wherever you select a selling plan. If the page doesn't show your intended selling plan, check whether the selected variant and selling plan are actually compatible.
Testing your setup
Test and validate your subscription setup before rolling changes out to your live store, to confirm the quantity, pricing, and delivery frequency all match what you configured.
Set up a test environment
Duplicate the product you want to test in Shopify, and duplicate the Replo page to point to it.
Map a Loop selling plan to the duplicate product.
In Shopify, create a 100% discount code so you can place a test order without being charged.
Place and verify a test order
Go through your subscription flow on the Replo page. Select the product, configure the subscription quantity and delivery frequency, and proceed to checkout using your discount code.
After placing the order, confirm the quantity matches what you selected in Replo.
Confirm the pricing matches the selling plan set in Loop, and the delivery frequency matches the plan you chose.
Check that the order details appear correctly in both Shopify and Loop.
Troubleshooting
If any of these details don't match, revisit your Replo widget configuration and confirm it's linked to the correct Loop selling plan ID.
Best practices
Test multiple scenarios, such as different subscription quantities and delivery frequencies, not just one.
Use a discount code or Shopify's test mode to simulate the customer experience without affecting live orders.
Document your test results so future troubleshooting and setup changes are faster.
Things to know
Loop's Bundle Builder and preset bundle features are not supported on Replo pages. These features rely on Loop's own widget, which cannot be embedded on a Replo page, so bundle setups need to be built on a standard theme page instead.
Design and styling of the subscription widget is managed entirely on Replo's side. Loop doesn't control how the widget looks, so any custom styling or CSS work needs to go through Replo support or your Replo developer.
If your Replo page is hardcoded to a specific product, you won't be able to link a new or test product to it until that hardcoding is removed. Check with your Replo developer before testing a new product on an existing page.
Updating your Shopify theme can cause the subscription option to stop showing on Replo pages, even if the mapping looks correct in Loop admin. If this happens, re-check the product mapping on the affected pages after any theme update.
FAQs
Does Loop has a native integration with Replo?
No, Loop does not have a native integration with Replo. Replo has its own subscription widget, and Loop's selling plan data passes through to it via Shopify
Do I need to install anything before using Loop selling plans on a Replo page?
Yes, you need to install and connect the Replo builder app on your Shopify store first. Once that connection is active, your store data, including Loop selling plan details, syncs through to Replo automatically.
Can I use Loop's Bundle Builder on a Replo page?
No, Bundle Builder and preset bundles require Loop's own widget, which Replo pages don't support, but you can build your bundle page on a standard Shopify theme page instead.
Can I customize how the subscription widget looks on my Replo page?
Yes but on Replo. The widget's design is controlled by Replo, and you can request styling changes through Replo's support team or your Replo developer.
Will hidden selling plans show up in Replo?
Yes, Replo fetches all selling plans linked to a mapped product, including ones marked as hidden in Loop.
Why did the subscription option disappear from my Replo page after a theme update?
