Learn how to use Loop Campaigns to engage subscribers with personalized offers, drive product discovery, and boost retention through in-portal and email campaigns.

Campaigns help you reach your subscribers through timely, personalized offers directly inside the Customer Portal or via Email/SMS.

They’re designed to promote discovery, trigger engagement, and simplify subscriber actions from adding a new product to resuming a paused subscription.

All campaigns are integrated with third party marketing platforms such as Klaviyo giving brands complete control over how and when they reach subscribers.

Upsell/Cross-sell product campaign

The Upsell/Cross-sell Product Campaign allows brands to highlight exclusive products or deals within the Customer portal, encouraging subscribers to add them to their upcoming orders or active subscriptions. It’s a powerful way to increase Average Order Value (AOV) and promote new or limited-edition products without relying solely on emails.

Key features

  1. Customer portal banners
    A new discovery channel to showcase live offers directly on the Customer Portal.

    • Subscribers can view and engage with ongoing campaigns instantly.

    • Clicking the banner opens an in-portal offer drawer to explore and accept the offer.

    • Once accepted, the campaign is marked as completed and removed for that subscription.

    • If multiple campaigns apply, subscribers can swipe through multiple banners.

      Banner customization path:
      Loop Admin → Customer Portal → Themes → [Your Theme] → Customize → Layout → Subscription Details Page → Campaign Banner

  2. Limited-time offers
    Create urgency by setting an expiry date for your campaign.

    • Once expired, the banner disappears automatically from the portal.

    • Any expired link (shared via email or SMS) will redirect subscribers to the portal but won’t show the offer drawer.

      Note:All the campaign types will be limited time only. Brands can run the campaigns for 2 months (difference between campaign start and end date)

  3. Campaign templates
    To make it easier for brands to get started, Loop provides ready templates for various use cases:

    • New product launch – Announce and sell new products to existing subscribers.

    • Exclusive subscriber offer – Offer early access or subscriber-only deals.

    • Stock clearance – Clear inventory efficiently by promoting select SKUs.

Schedule campaigns: No more last minute checklist hassle to turn on subscription campaigns. Brands can effortlessly schedule campaign to a future date and time to match the offer timings.

How to create an Upsell/Cross-sell campaign

Follow these simple steps to set up your campaign:

  1. Navigate to:
    ​Loop Admin → Campaigns → Create Campaign → Upsell/Cross-sell Product

  2. Add an internal name for easy identification.

  3. Select audience:

    • All active subscriptions or

    • Specific subscriptions using filters (e.g., frequency, product, or customer tags)

  4. Select channel:

    • Customer Portal banner

    • Email/SMS via Klaviyo or other integrations

    • Both

  5. Select product:
    Choose the product you wish to promote as an upsell or cross-sell.

  6. Add banner images:

    • Desktop banner (recommended: 3912 × 964 px)

    • Mobile banner (recommended: 2000 × 960 px)

  7. Customize offer texts:
    Edit button labels and success messages like:

    Offer Details, Accept Offer, Decline Offer, and success messages

  8. Set timeline:
    Add start and end dates to define the campaign’s active duration.

  9. Notify via Email(Optional):
    Enter an email to receive completion alerts.

  10. Click Save to launch your campaign.


Customer experience

Once live, subscribers visiting the Customer portal will see banners (if created) for ongoing campaigns.

  • Clicking the banner opens an offer drawer to explore the details.

  • They can choose to:

    • Add as Subscription Product, or

    • Add as One-time Add-on

  • Upon completion, a success message confirms the product addition, and the campaign disappears from their view.

This real-time experience ensures subscribers don’t miss exclusive deals while reducing friction compared to traditional email-only promotions.


Performance tracking

You can view the performance of each campaign under Loop Admin → Campaigns

Metrics available:

  • Audience: Number of subscribers targeted.

  • Clicks: Number of subscribers who interacted with the campaign.

  • Completion rate: Percentage of subscribers who completed the desired action.

These insights help brands evaluate which campaigns are driving the most engagement and identify opportunities to optimize offer design or targeting.

What happens when a campaign expires?

The banner automatically disappears, and offer links no longer open the campaign drawer.

Can multiple campaigns be visible at once?

Yes, subscribers can view and swipe through multiple active campaign banners on their portal.

Can I run upsell campaigns alongside recover failed payment or winback campaigns?

Yes, campaigns can run simultaneously and target overlapping audiences without any conflict.

Do campaigns support external marketing tools like Klaviyo?

Yes, you can sync and send campaign links via Klaviyo.
