Create Subscription
A subscription can be a convenient and cost-effective way for customers to purchase and receive products or services. With a subscription, the customer can choose to have the products or services delivered to them regularly, such as weekly or monthly. This can save the customer time and effort.

This section will walk you through all the options on how you or the customer can create a subscription on Loop.
Create a subscription from the Storefront / Website
To create a new subscription Loop, the customer could head to the storefront, select a purchase option, and place an order by checking out the store. This will automatically create a new subscription for that customer on the Loop app with the order’s contents.
If the customer’s order/cart had multiple products with different frequencies, then different subscriptions will be created for each frequency option that was present while checking out at the store.
Create a subscription from the Loop customer portal
Customers can create a new subscription for themselves directly from the Loop customer portal. For a customer to be able to do this, the following prerequisites must be met.
Prerequisites
- The customer should have already purchased at least one subscription from the store in the past or have a valid payment method attached to their customer account in Shopify.
- The option called “Create Subscription” should be enabled. This option can be found by heading to "Customer Portal > Preferences > Subscription Details"

Create a subscription manually from the Loop admin portal
There might be a requirement if a customer phones in and asks the merchant to start a subscription on their behalf. In such cases, the merchant can manually create a subscription on behalf of the customer from the Loop admin portal. To do so, the following requirements will need to be met.
Prerequisites
- The customer should have already purchased at least one subscription from the store in the past or have a valid payment method attached to their customer account in Shopify.
