Connect secondary payment method on Shopify / Loop

This article aims to quickly walk you through the steps to take to connect your legacy subscription provider's payment provider as a secondary payment method on your Shopify store.

Ensure that you are using a compatible payment provider with your existing subscription platform/solution. Here is a quick guide to check the list of supported providers

Step-by-step walkthrough

Open the Loop app on your store from your Shopify admin.

Head over to Settings > Migrate payment methods

Select the payment provider that you are trying to connect in the dropdown and then click on the connect button.

This will open up the OAuth page for the selected payment method - ensure that you correct the same account that was linked to your legacy / external platform subscription app.


How do I check if the PSP was connected successfully

Head over to Shopify > Settings > Payments and you will find the PSP connected right below your primary PSP as shown in the screenshot.

Alternatively - the Settings > Migrate payment methods page in the Loop app will also show the same information.
